Like the original MVS, the base unit of the new machine will sport joysticks and buttons for up to 2 players, only this time the buttons will be programmable. Aside from that, the SNK MVSX will come with a 17-inch 1280x1024 LCD screen, stereo speakers, a backlit marquee, and a USB port, in addition to a 32-inch stand for those who want to play standing up like in the 90s.

Similarly to other retro game collections, the MVSX will sport a few useful bonus features, like an AES/MVS mode switch option that will let users play either the arcade version or console port for each game. Additionally, players will have the option to switch the visuals between a standard perfect-pixel mode and a scan line mode designed to emulate the MVS cabinets’ CRT displays. All in all, it sounds like quite a solid package for retro arcade enthusiasts.

The SNK MVSX Arcade Machine launches on November 24.
